• Play with colourful yarn and create your own handmade mini tapestries or coasters
• Learn how to detach a fabric from the loom and add final touches 🪡🧵

No experience needed—just bring your creativity and enjoy a relaxing, hands-on craft experience that is perfect for all skill levels 🙌🏾

What you will take back -

• Basic understanding of how fabric is woven on a loom and appreciation for the craft
• Your own handmade fabric in the form of a usable coaster or decorative tapestry
• Memories for a lifetime

Participants are encouraged to consider how textiles have been a part of their lives and if there are some that hold a special place for them… a rug in your grandmothers house or your moms cotton saree, your dads cotton kerchief or a scarf gifted by a friend.

Participants are also welcome to bring in natural fabrics like cotton, linen, silk or wool, that they’d would like to weave into the their piece to make it extra special.
